| 1969 Corvette was a father/son project car in 1988
and the chassis and engine/trans were overhauled.
When I got the car the engine was seized and I
took off the heads and found all new parts but the
rear two cylinders have gotten stuck to the walls,
there is no rust. The rest of the car was
stripped for a frame off paint job. Everything
stopped then, Nothing more was done, and I have
not tried to move the pistons.
I have all the stripped parts ( I am sure of over
95% of the car including a lot of new parts ) I
did put new calipers and main brake cylinder last
month and that is working fine. The chassis is
fine no dents or damage, the floor pans are solid
and no rust,
steers easy. This is really a good project car for
some one that is a little younger! |
