You are bidding on a running shifting driving
1958
corvette chassis ( not correct). This running
chassis is from the car I built and drove for
2years (5000 miles approx) It was a beautiful
frame off restoration and I had a lot of fun with
the car. I have now taken the car back apart and
am restoring it again on a new c4 chassis with an
LS6 engine. Everyone says I’ve lost my mind to
take apart such a beautiful vintage car running
so
well and winning shows. Guess I just like to tear
them apart and rebuild. I say this to explain
that
what is for sale here is a complete running
driving chassis ready for a body. This is ½ of a
1958 original corvette. The hard half. The engine
is a 283 with 4bbl carb. Transmission is the
original Munsie 4 speed with a new Hurst
shifter.
The rear end is a 10 bolt original 4:10.
Everything on the chassis was replaced, rebuilt,
powder coated, like new when I built it. This is
a
heck of a buy wish I could have found it when I
was building the car the first time around. I
have
placed a decent reserve because I have local
offers pending. I also have a host of other 58
parts, steering, heater, some body parts, misc.,
if the successful bidder is interested.
