| Selling my 1957 Cascade Green Corvette. One of 319
57 Corvettes painted this color. I have owned
this car for 5 years and known it since 1969 and
it's an original Cascade Green and Shoreline Beige
car. It has had 5 owners including me and has
always been garaged. It's traceable to the second
owner. I worked with the second owner back in 1969
and it still wore it's faded green and beige paint
then. The third owner painted it in 1981 in
Nitrocellulose Lacquer. The original fiberglass
lip is still in place over the trunk lock, It has
a 1965 327 C.I. 350 H.P. motor bought by the
second owner from Chevrolet, assembled and
balanced by Wayne Jesel. It has a 4800 Rochester
Fuel Injection unit with a 905 distributor. The
distributor has new gears and shafts by Baker and
the unit was inspected and calibrated by Jerry
Bramlett 2 years ago. I chose not to have any
cosmetic refinishing done at that time because I
like the original patina of the unit. There are no
cracks or damage to any of the castings and it has
an electric fuel shutoff installed to prevent
hydro lock. It runs great in fact I drove it to
Corvette Carlisle 2 years ago for the fiftieth
anniversary celebration.It has the correct round
throttle rod, 976 R/H exhaust manifold (no choke
hole) ignition shielding, # 107 coil, thermostat
housing, restored 493 water pump with stepped
pulley and 17" straight 4 blade fan, original 5
quart oil pan, original front motor mount brace
