| This is a smoke free 1997 C5 Chevrolet Corvette with a 5.7L V8 PFI OHV engine. The engine is very clean, has racing spark plugs and a K& N air filter. Its loaded with extras such as: after market flush tail lights, mirror tint to match silver of the car, rims and tires have been changed - 18" Ronal machine and chrome rims on the front & 19" on the back. (See pictures for details) Tires are Z-rated Michelin Pilots, tread is still very good. There is an additional body molding strip on the side of the car. The car has been lowered due to the installation of an after market racing shocks. For more horse power, an up to date C-5 four barrel chrome tip exhaust system was installed.
Interior: Gauge cluster bezels, leather seats, and will include gray & black embroidered seat covers. Infiniti Kappa series speakers for the high and Mids. In the picture you can see that there is an Alpine Cd player there is also 2 alpine amps and 2 Type R 10'' alpine subs. This system is extremely clear and loud. In order keep the Alpine system installed the reserve must be met. If the reserve is not met, I will remove the Alpine CD player and replace it with a Clarion CD player. The highs and mids will remain in the car but I will also remove the amps and subs. If this is what you choose I am willing to negotiate the price. No matter which option you choose, you will also receive the original Bose sound system & CD changer.
No interior leaks from pop top and it is accident free. There is a slow freon leak in the A/C system, I did not really pay much attention to it because I usually drive with the top off. Other than this the car is in fantastic condition. Every recall has been replaced with the top of the line equipment. I have not had any problems it handles VERY well and has ALOT of power behind it.
This vehicle passes Louisiana state inspection. It is in excellent condition and gets great gas mileage. I am the second owner of the car and use it mainly for weekend leisure. The original owner was a retired airline mechanic. I first bought this car a year and a half ago as a single male but things in my life have changed and I don't use the vehicle as often as I used to.
